Candlelight Homes Wins Prestigious “Home of the Year” Award at 2025 Gold Nugget Awards

We’re honored to share that our Scandinavian-inspired Chamonix home design has earned the title of “Home of the Year” at the prestigious 2025 Gold Nugget Awards, hosted by the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC).

Often referred to as the “Academy Awards” of the building industry, the Gold Nugget Awards spotlight excellence in architecture, planning, and innovation. Our Chamonix design—submitted by our talented partners at DTJ Design—stood out among an elite group of home designs from across the country, capturing national attention for its forward-thinking approach and refined livability.

This recognition celebrates the beauty and ingenuity of the Chamonix, a home that blends modern simplicity with functional elegance. With floor-to-ceiling windows in the stairwell, innovative under-cabinet windows in the kitchen, and clean lines that embrace warmth and minimalism, this home feels as inspiring as the mountain it’s named after. Every square foot is thoughtfully designed for everyday living—balancing form, function, and delight.
