West Valley City is known for its economic development as evidenced by its numerous business parks, corporate offices, business headquarters, and world-wide distribution centers. Progress has even stretched into the entertainment and sports arenas with the construction of the USANA amphitheater and the Maverik Center. As a result of continued development and growth, it has become the second largest city in Utah.
To cultivate a sense of community, the city built the Utah Cultural Celebration Center as a conduit to celebrate the cultural diversity in the area. It brings people together from all backgrounds providing an opportunity to learn about different cultures and participate in educational events and programs. West Valley City cares about all its residents and community needs, offering a variety of services such as fitness centers, senior recreation facilities, parks, and golf courses.
