Community Description
The name, Edelweiss, was specifically chosen for this community because of the respect the Swiss have for the Edelweiss flower that graces the slopes of the Alps. This delicate flower has come to symbolize the respect the Swiss have for their land.
Edelweiss is situated on the hillside of south/east Draper adjacent to Corner Canyon. Painstaking care has been given to lot and road placement for purposes of preserving as much of the natural vegetation and ridgeline as possible. Large lots (1/2 acre) and significant open space, provide a feeling of natural beauty in this community.
Soil erosion, natural drainage, and historical slide data has been carefully studied and factored into the engineering of every Edelweiss building lot.
